San Remigio
Half-day stop on the way to Bantayan Island or a quiet beach day from Cebu City: 3–4 h by bus each way, so stay one night if you want to swim.
San Remigio has the longest coastline on Cebu Island and is the mainland gateway to Bantayan Island via Hagnaya Port. Its main draw is Lapyahan sa San Remigio, a public white-sand beach with seagrass and gazebos. The town is spread out along the coast, best explored by tricycle. Most visitors pass through on the way to Bantayan; a single night works for a relaxed beach stop.
