Linapacan
Linapacan is for divers and snorkellers who want empty beaches and clear water: 2–3 nights if you have your own transport, otherwise skip in favour of Coron or El Nido.
Linapacan is a quiet island in the Calamian Islands group, north Palawan, with about 16,000 people. Its main draw is exceptionally clear water for diving and snorkelling, but infrastructure is minimal. Most travellers base themselves in Coron and visit Linapacan as a day trip or overnight. Without your own boat or a pre-arranged tour, getting around is difficult.
