Skip Dellroy as a base: it is a one-stop village on Atwood Lake with no transit and no hotel strip. Come only if you have a car and a lake plan.
Dellroy is a village of about 356 people on the southern shore of Atwood Lake in Carroll County, Ohio, at the crossing of SR 39 and SR 542. There is no bus or rail service, so a car is required. The draw is the lake: boating, a large state-park campground, and a handful of small places to eat. Most travellers see it as a half-day or an overnight at the lake, not a multi-day destination.
