Odintsovo
Skip Odintsovo as a destination: it is a commuter suburb of Moscow with one church and a brick-factory museum. Use it only if you need a cheap bed near the airport or have family there.
Odintsovo is a mid-sized industrial city 40 minutes by train from Moscow's Belorussky Station. Its few sights — an 18th-century church, a local-history museum in a former brick factory, and some street murals — can be seen in 2–3 hours. Most travellers should stay in Moscow and visit Odintsovo only as a day trip if they have a specific interest.
