Visit Diriyah for half a day (4–6 h) to see At‑Turaif and Bujairi Terrace; no need to stay overnight if based in Riyadh.
Diriyah, the ancestral home of the Saudi dynasty, is a UNESCO‑listed historic town on the outskirts of Riyadh. Its mud‑brick palaces and museums can be explored in a few hours, making it a half‑day stop on a Riyadh itinerary. Overnight accommodation is limited to a few luxury hotels still under construction, so most visitors base themselves in Riyadh and take a taxi or ride‑share into the site.
