• Weekend and holiday traffic on Jl. Setiabudi can double the Bandung–Lembang drive: leave early.
• Tangkuban Perahu charges a much higher entry for foreign visitors than for Indonesians; bring ID and expect to pay the foreign rate.
• Ride-hailing apps often have no cars in Maribaya or at the crater: agree a return time with your driver or charter an angkot.
