Bequia
Base yourself on Bequia for 4–5 nights: it's the easiest Grenadine island to reach by ferry from St Vincent, with good beaches, walking trails and day sails to the Tobago Cays.
Bequia (pronounced beck-way) is the most accessible Grenadine island from St Vincent, with a sheltered harbour, a handful of beaches, and a relaxed pace. Most travellers use it as a base for 4–5 nights, combining island walks, a dive or two, and a day sail to the Tobago Cays. The island is small enough to walk across in an hour, and buses cover the rest.
