Mormon Lake Village is a tiny settlement on the edge of the Coconino National Forest, about 30 km south of Flagstaff. The lake is often dry or a marsh; the main draw is the Mormon Lake Lodge (cabins, a fishing pond) and two seasonal National Forest campgrounds. Most travellers pass through on the way to Flagstaff or Sedona.
