Cygnet is a small Huon Valley town of about 840 people, 56 km south-west of Hobart, built on apples, berries and a working arts scene. Mary Street holds most of it: galleries, a bookshop, cafés and two old pubs. It works as one night on a Huon Valley drive, or as a half-day stop if you time it to the market.
