Visit Sagard as a half‑day stop while touring Rügen; not a base – 3‑4 h for old‑town walk, park and nearby cliffs.
Sagard is a small Rügen town (≈2,500 residents) with a regenerated historic centre, a spa‑park and easy bus links to Jasmund National Park and the coast. It works best as a brief stop on a longer island itinerary rather than a dedicated overnight base.
