Fouman is a small city in the Caspian Iran region, 21 km from Rasht, best known as the gateway to Rudkhan Fortress and the mountain town of Masouleh. The town itself has a few statues and a cookie specialty, but the main draw is the fortress hike. Most visitors spend a few hours here, not a full day.
