Sun River is a tiny farming village in central Montana, named for the river that runs beside it. With a population of about 124 and no shops, restaurants or public transport, it exists as a crossroads on US-89 and MT-200. The only reason to stop is to fish the Sun River or to sleep at the Ramble Inn if you need a bed between Great Falls and Choteau. Most travellers should drive through.
