Sebring is a small Florida Heartland town built around a traffic circle instead of a main street, with a 1931 state park west of town and a road-racing circuit south of it. It is a car town: US-27 carries the hotels, diners and chain stores, while downtown on FL-17 is quiet shops and a theatre. Winter draws retirees and race weekends fill every bed.
