Lancaster is a small town in the Great North Region of New Hampshire, best known as a stop on US 2 between Vermont and Maine. Its main draws are two historic properties: the Wilder-Holton House and the John Wingate Weeks Historic Site. Most travellers pass through in under a day, continuing north to Pittsburg or east to Berlin.
