Tenom
One day is enough in Tenom – visit the Agricultural Park or catch the train to Beaufort, then return.
Tenom is a quiet interior town in Sabah, known for the Tenom Agricultural Park and the southern terminus of the Sabah State Railway. The town is a good base for a short visit – a half‑day walk in the park or a two‑hour train ride to Beaufort and back fits comfortably into a day. Overnight stays are possible but not required unless you want a farm‑stay experience.
