Calamba

Spend a half‑day to a full day in Calamba: see Rizal’s birthplace, dip in Pansol hot springs, then head to nearby Laguna towns.

Calamba is a transport hub in Calabarzon, 50 km south of Manila. Its main draws are the Rizal Shrine, the Pansol hot‑spring resorts and the Nuvali wake‑park. Most visitors can see the key sights in a morning‑to‑afternoon visit and use the city as a base for day trips to Los Baños or Pagsanjan.

Airports are listed under At a glance; this is how to move once you are in

Getting around

Jeepneys run the Maharlika Highway and National Highway, stopping at the Crossing, Pansol and Canlubang. Tricycles are the cheapest way to move a few blocks (≈₱9 / km). Buses serve south‑Luzon routes from the SM terminal. Private cars face heavy traffic at the Crossing; park for free at the City Hall or malls.
