Half a day, not a base: stop for the ventriloquism museum and Civil War battery, then sleep in Covington or Florence.
Fort Wright is a small Kentucky city just south of Cincinnati, best known for the Vent Haven Museum of ventriloquism and Battery Hooper, a Civil War fortification. Most travellers use it as a quick stop on the I-71/I-75 corridor between Cincinnati and Florence or Lexington.
