Skip as a base unless you want a cheap bed near Luton Airport or a canal walk: one night, or a half-day stop on the narrow-gauge railway.
Leighton Buzzard is a small Bedfordshire market town on the Grand Union Canal and the West Coast Main Line, about 40 minutes from London Euston. Its one real draw is the 2-ft gauge heritage railway at Page's Park. Most travellers use it as a cheap bed near Luton Airport or a canal-side break, not as a destination in itself.
