One night is enough: York is an I-80 stop between Lincoln and Omaha, not a base. Skip it unless you need a bed or a break on the drive.
York is a small eastern Nebraska city on I-80, about 80 km west of Lincoln and 130 km west of Omaha. It has a historic downtown core, a county-fairgrounds calendar and cheap interstate lodging. Almost everyone who stops is breaking a drive across Nebraska; almost nobody makes it a destination.
