Aroma Park is a 30-minute stop for a riverside walk or a meal, not a destination: combine with Kankakee or St. Anne for a half-day.
Aroma Park is a small village (about 800 people) on the Kankakee River in Illinois, part of the Kankakee Area. It has a boat club, a forest preserve and a couple of restaurants. Most visitors pass through on a day trip from Kankakee or Bradley, spending 1–2 hours by the river or at Strasma Park. The nearby villages of St. Anne and Hopkins Park add a few more dining options.
