Ado Ekiti is the capital of Ekiti State and a Yoruba hill town of about 450,000 people, not a sightseeing destination. There is one real monument, a lively evening food and bar scene, and good road links to Akure, Ibadan and Lagos. Come for a day or two as part of an Ekiti State loop, not as a standalone trip.
