Bolod and Libaong

Skip as a base unless you want a quiet beachfront resort away from Alona's noise; a half-day visit for the beach and a meal is enough.

Bolod and Libaong are two adjacent barangays on the east side of Panglao Island, known for their quiet, resort-lined beaches. They offer a calmer alternative to Alona Beach, with a handful of upscale resorts, a long stretch of white sand, and easy access to the rest of Panglao. Most travellers spend a half-day here or stay 1–2 nights for a beach retreat.
