Getting around
Downtown around the Green is walkable. NJ Transit trains run from Morristown station (122 Morris St) to New York Penn Station in about an hour, and to Summit, Chatham and Madison in minutes. Local bus routes (871–880 series) serve the surrounding towns but run infrequently. A car helps for Jockey Hollow, Fosterfields and the Morris Museum; on-street parking is often metered and the Morristown Parking Authority runs several public garages.
