Skip as a destination unless you are here for spring-training baseball or live nearby: a half-day for the ballpark and Estrella Mountain trails, then sleep in Phoenix.
Goodyear is a sprawling Phoenix suburb with two draws: the Goodyear Ballpark (spring training for the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Guardians) and Estrella Mountain Regional Park (20,000 acres of desert trails). There is no downtown, no nightlife and no reason to stay overnight unless you have family in town. Most travellers should treat it as a side trip from Phoenix or skip it entirely.
