Go for one night or a half-day stop on the Kitsap Peninsula: Scenic Beach State Park, a waterfront walk and pizza at the marina. Two nights only if you kayak or dive.
Seabeck is a small Hood Canal waterfront community on the Kitsap Peninsula, about 16 minutes by car west of Silverdale. It was a lumber-mill town from 1856 until an 1886 fire emptied it, then a YMCA/YWCA retreat; today it is a quiet base for Scenic Beach State Park, beachcombing, crabbing and kayak launches. Sights are few and close together, so one night covers it and a half-day works as a stop between Silverdale and Tahuya.
