Burgeo is a 1,300-person outport on a peninsula at the end of Route 480, 146 km south of the Trans-Canada Highway. The town is about ten blocks wide, has no taxi, and its draw is Sandbanks Provincial Park beaches, walking trails and the ferry link to Ramea, Grey River and Francois. One night covers it; two if you want a full beach day.
