Queimados
Spend a half‑day in Queimados to see the industrial district and historic church; no overnight needed unless you need cheap lodging.
Queimados is a small industrial municipality in the Baixada Fluminense, reachable by commuter train from Rio's Central do Brasil station. Its main sights are the Rio Guandu river, the Industrial District and the 19th‑century Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição. A few hours suffice; stay only if you need budget accommodation.
