Skip Milan as a base: it is a 1-night stop only if you are on I-23 between Ann Arbor and Toledo, or here for a drag race at Milan Dragway.
Milan is a small southeast Michigan city straddling the Washtenaw–Monroe county line, about 24 km south of Ann Arbor and 40 km north of Toledo on I-23. It has a compact downtown, a veterans monument, a small local history museum and a drag strip. Most travellers pass through; a half-day or one night is enough unless a race weekend brings you here.
