Give Massillon one day, not a base: the museum, the Lincoln Way strip and a Tigers game if it is a Friday night in autumn.
Massillon is a small Ohio city on the Tuscarawas River, 20 minutes west of Canton, known for high-school football and for the museum and theatre on Lincoln Way. It is a half-day or one-night stop inside a Canton-area trip, not a destination on its own. Two nights is the practical maximum unless you are here for a game or a bike ride on the towpath.

SARTA runs regional buses from Canton and around Stark County, but frequencies are low and stops are spread out. A car is the practical choice: US-30 and SR-21 meet here, downtown parking is free or cheap, and the towpath and Sippo Valley Trail are the only good car-free options.
