Newtown is a small Bucks County borough about 25 minutes north of Philadelphia, with a compact historic State Street that you can walk end to end in an hour. It works as a half-day stop between Philadelphia and New Hope, or as a one-night base for Tyler State Park and the surrounding farmland. There is no rail station in the borough itself, so a car or a bus from Langhorne is the practical way in.
