Cherry Hill is a suburban township of about 71,000 people in Camden County, New Jersey, 15–20 minutes by PATCO train from Center City Philadelphia. It has no walkable downtown: sights, malls and hotels sit along Route 70, Route 38 and Haddonfield Road, so a car or a rideshare is the practical way to move. Most travellers use it for cheaper hotel rooms near Philadelphia, the Cherry Hill Mall, or the Garden State Discovery Museum with children. Two nights covers it; one night is enough if you only need a bed.

Getting around
A car or rideshare is the default: distances between the mall, museums and hotels are 3–8 km and pavements are inconsistent. PATCO's Woodcrest station runs 24/7 to Camden and Center City Philadelphia; NJ Transit's Atlantic City Rail Line stops at Cherry Hill station on Route 70 at Cornell Avenue, but trains are infrequent, so check the timetable. NJ Transit buses serve the Cherry Hill Mall and connect to Camden, Pennsauken, Merchantville and Philadelphia. Interstate 295 has three exits in the township, and the New Jersey Turnpike Exit 4 links to Route 73.
