Simunul
Spend a half‑day to a full day in Simunul to see its historic mosques and mangrove park; stay overnight only if you need a rest before the next island.
Simunul is a small coastal municipality in Tawi‑Tawi, Bangsamoro, known for the 1960s Sheikh Karimul Makhdum Mosque (claimed oldest in the Philippines) and the mangrove‑set Papa Bull’s Park. With limited accommodation, a day visit is enough for most travelers; an overnight stay works if you are island‑hopping in Tawi‑Tawi.
