McComb is a small railroad town in southwest Mississippi, about 81 mi south of Jackson and 108 mi north of New Orleans, right off I-55. It has a compact downtown depot, a handful of parks and a mall strip on Veterans Blvd. Most travellers use it as a cheap bed and a leg stretch, not as a destination.
