Celebration is a small planned town built by the Walt Disney Company in the 1990s, about 8 km from Walt Disney World. It is a walkable downtown of shops, restaurants and a lakefront fountain, not a theme park. Most visitors come for an afternoon or a single night between Disney days; the town itself is quiet and residential.

Getting around

Downtown is walkable in 10–15 minutes end to end. For anything outside the core you need a car, taxi or rideshare; LYNX buses serve the area but run infrequently. Parking downtown fills up at weekends — street parking is allowed but tickets are issued if you park more than about 20 cm from the curb.

Very safe for a US town of its size; the real risks are summer heat, afternoon lightning storms and traffic on US 192. Keep valuables out of sight in parked cars.
