Pass through on the way to Benin City or Abuja: half a day for the market and Arafat Mosque, then move on. One night only if you have business at Auchi Polytechnic.
Auchi is the headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area in Edo State, a market and university town on the A2 highway between Benin City and Abuja. Its main draws are the Arafat Mosque complex and the Otaru's Palace. Most travellers use it as a lunch or fuel stop, not a destination.
