Calvillo is a Pueblo Mágico in Aguascalientes state, about an hour by road from the state capital, with a compact colonial centre, a guava industry and three reservoirs nearby. The town itself is small; most visitors come for the guava fair in early December, the haciendas and the lakeside restaurants. One night is enough unless you are here for the fair.
