Mullens is a small former coal and railroad town in the New River and Greenbrier Valleys of West Virginia. Its downtown is a National Historic District with varied architecture, and the Coal Miners Memorial sits just west of the centre. Most visitors pass through in half a day, using it as a base for Twin Falls Resort State Park (lodge, golf, hiking) or as a stop between Beckley and Pineville.
