Bojnourdبجنورد
Half a day: see Sardar Mofakham House and Besh Qardesh spring, then move on. Not a base for North Khorasan.
Bojnourd, capital of North Khorasan province, is a quiet provincial city with a handful of Qajar-era buildings and natural springs. Most travellers pass through on the way to Mashhad or Gorgan. The sights can be covered in a morning or afternoon; one night is enough if you need a rest stop.
