Pio Duran

Skip unless you have a specific reason to visit the hot springs or catch the Masbate ferry: a half-day stop is enough; do not base a trip here.

Pio Duran is a quiet coastal municipality in southwest Albay, known for its hot springs, a viewpoint of Mayon Volcano, and a port to Masbate. Most travellers pass through on the way to Ligao or Legazpi. The town itself has a few sights but no major draw; a half-day covers the hot springs and the viewpoint.
