Mahallatمحلات
Half a day covers the Khorheh ruins and the mineral-water baths; sleep one night only if you want the baths unhurried.
Mahallat is a small city in Markazi Province, about 3 h by bus from Tehran or Isfahan, known for warm mineral springs and the Hellenistic ruins at Khorheh. It works as a short stopover between the two big cities, or as one night if you want the baths without rushing.

What we know, and what is coming
On this page
- Best months: Mar–May, Sep–Oct · avoid Jun–Aug (hot, 34–37 °C highs)
- 2 airports and 1 area to sleep in
- Weather: a 7-day forecast and monthly averages
- Cost per day in 3 bands
- 3 day-trips, door to door
- 3 things to watch out for, with emergency numbers
Coming as the guide grows
- Add a night at Hotel Agsha so the baths are not squeezed around a bus departure.
- Pair Mahallat with Arak or Qom as a two-stop Markazi leg instead of a single detour.
- Field-check bus departure times from Tehran and Isfahan terminals before publishing fares.
