Pariquera-Açu
Skip as a destination: pass through on BR-116 between São Paulo and Curitiba, or stop for a meal and a photo of the 1905 Stone House. No need to stay overnight.
Pariquera-Açu is a small town on the BR-116 highway in São Paulo's South Coast region. Its main draw is the Campina do Encantado State Park and a single historic house. Most travellers pass through without stopping; a half-hour break is enough to see the Stone House and eat at a local restaurant.
