Go for 3 nights if you want a quiet surf-and-hammock beach; skip it if you need nightlife, shops or a town centre — there is none.
Troncones is a 5 km strip of beach village about 32 km northwest of Zihuatanejo, on the Pacific coast of Guerrero. There is no town centre, no bank and little nightlife: days are surf, snorkel, yoga and long walks, nights are early. Come for 2–4 nights as a slow counterpoint to Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo, not as a sightseeing base.
