Skip as a stop: Multia is a small inland village with one church and a motel, best visited as a short detour from Keuruu or Jyväskylä. Half a day is enough.
Multia is a quiet municipality in Central Finland, known mainly for its 1796 wooden church and surrounding forests. With a population under 2,000, it offers little for the general traveller beyond a brief stop. Most visitors come for the church or as a base for hiking and fishing in the nearby lakes and woods. The nearest services and transport links are in Keuruu, 15 km away.
