Minneapolis is a small town of about 2,000 people in Ottawa County, Central Kansas, on US 81 between Concordia and Salina. Its one draw is Rock City, a park of roughly 200 spherical sandstone concretions 3.6 miles south of town, a National Natural Landmark. Everything else is a main street, a bar and two motels. Come for Rock City, sleep one night, move on.
