Bago

Spend a half‑day (3–4 h) in Bago to see the main pagodas; add a night only if you need a rest before heading east.

Bago’s historic sites sit within a 2 km radius, so a few hours cover the highlights. Overnight stays are useful only as a break between Yangon and the east coast.
