Sokaraja is a commuter town 4 km north of Purwokerto in Central Java. Its centre is walkable in 20 minutes and it offers a small waterpark, a traditional market and the famous fried getuk snack. Most visitors stop for a few hours en route to larger cities; a night‑stay is optional for a relaxed waterpark visit.
