Brad is a small mining town in Hunedoara County, about 36 km from Deva. Its main attractions are the Gold Museum, the Ethnography Museum and a few public monuments. A short visit (4–5 h) plus an overnight stay lets you see the sights and enjoy a local guesthouse without rushing.
