Capçaleres del Ter i del Freser Natural Park protects the upper valleys of the Ter and Freser rivers in the eastern Pyrenees, with peaks over 2,900 m, glacial cirques and the car‑free Vall de Núria valley. It borders the Regional Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees in France. The park was created in 2015 and covers 14,750 ha across the municipalities of Queralbs, Setcases, Molló, Vilallonga de Ter, Ribes de Freser, Pardines and Planoles. It includes the Vallter 2000 ski resort and the Vall de Núria sanctuary, and is crossed by the GR 11 long‑distance trail.
