La Esperanza, El Rosario
Spend a half‑day walking the historic centre, Adelantado Forest Park and the church; stay elsewhere and use a base in La Laguna.
La Esperanza is a small mountain town of about 3,500 people at 879 m altitude, just north of Teide National Park. Its sights are within walking distance, so a few hours suffice. Use nearby La Laguna or Puerto de la Cruz for accommodation and night life.
