Bragança Paulista
Half a day to a full day: walk the Lake Taboão loop, eat a sausage, then continue to Campinas or São Paulo. Not a base.
Bragança Paulista is a small city in São Paulo state, 90 km from the capital, known for its artisanal sausages and the car-free Lake Taboão promenade. Most visitors come for a few hours on a weekend trip from Campinas or São Paulo. The historic centre has shops and cafés, and the surrounding hills offer short trails. One night is enough if you want to hike Leite Sol hill in the morning.
